CRUZ WARRANTY POLICY 

We are focused on continuous improvement of our products, quality and customer service in order to offer the following warranties:

 

CRUZ warranty

The CRUZ Warranty ensures that all new CRUZ products are free from material or manufacturing defects for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. Depending on the country of purchase, other warranty periods may be applicable in accordance with the applicable legislation. CRUZ warranty must be claimed in the country where the product was purchased. This warranty extends only to the original buyer of a CRUZ product. 

CRUZ, in its sole discretion, shall be able to: repair the product; replace the product; offer another product of similar or higher value; refund the product value. In case of product replacement or value refund, the returned product will become property of CRUZ.

CRUZ Warranty does not cover, including but not limited: defects resulting from deterioration due to the regular use of the product; defects caused by the transport or storage of the product; defects caused by misuse of the product (please check CRUZ Use and Safety instructions); defects due to overload of the product; defects caused by inappropriate fitting of the product (check CRUZ fitting instructions); defects caused by inappropriate fitting of accessories (check CRUZ fitting instructions). CRUZ warranty shall also not cover: damages caused to the vehicle; damages caused to the carried load; damages caused to any person; damages caused to any property. If the product was purchased online, CRUZ warranty must also be claimed through the point of sale where the product was purchased. The product and the proof of purchase will be picked up in the address where it was delivered.

The CRUZ Warranty will not apply if: the product has been modified or repaired by any entity other than CRUZ; if the product has been repaired with spare parts which are not CRUZ.

 

CRUZ Extended Warranty

CRUZ Extended Warranty implies that some new CRUZ products (please check the table “Products with CRUZ Extended Warranty”) are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the end of the CRUZ warranty, this means 5 in total from the date of purchase. CRUZ Extended Warranty must be claimed in the country where the product was purchased. This warranty extends only to the original buyer of a CRUZ product.

To benefit from this CRUZ Extended Warranty, it is necessary to go to cruz-products.com and register your product.

How to claim CRUZ Warranty? 

If you have a CRUZ Warranty or CRUZ Extended Warranty claim please notify the fault or defect with the product and return it to the CRUZ point of sales where it was purchased, when still within the warranty period. If the product was purchased online, it will be picked up together with the proof of purchase in the address where it was delivered.

The point of sales will contact CRUZ After-sales service by giving the information provided and the product in case it is necessary for an inspection. All products returned shall be accompanied by the invoice or purchase receipt.

The process of CRUZ Warranty or CRUZ Extended Warranty claim is the following:

  1. Fulfilling the Warranty Claim Form.
  2. Providing photographs and/or videos of the defect in the product.
  3. Cleaning the product and identifying the invoice or purchase receipt.
  4. Bringing the product and the above mentioned documents to the CRUZ point of sales where the product was purchased. If it is not possible (in case of an online purchase for example), please send all the information by e-mail.
  5. CRUZ point of sales will forward all the information to us.
  6. After-sales of our customer service department will check all the information provided and contact with the CRUZ point of sales in order to inform them about the resolution.
  7. CRUZ point of sales shall contact you to inform about the resolution.
